Description
The PEJU family owns and sustainably farms six estate vineyards in Napa Valley ranging from Carneros, Napas coolest growing region, all the way north to Calistoga. Rare in todays wine industry, the familys careful oversight of its estate vineyards assures quality from grape to glass. PEJUs 30-acre Rutherford Estate was certified organic in 2007 by California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) and in 2019 all six of their vineyard properties were certified under the Fish Friendly Farming program.
A luscious Chardonnay, this wine presents a mouthwatering bouquet of panna cotta, lemon curd, and lime zest. Combined nuances of honey crisp apple, butterscotch, and minerality create a round and elegant palate. The silky-smooth mouthfeel is met with a crispness that leaves you wanting more.
Fermented and aged in French oak, 40% new.
